Every year on year, working with Sampada Trust (parent organization of SELF) and SELF there on gives me a feeling of moving closer towards our mission of transforming lives by enabling financial inclusion and support through practicing innovation and excellence. I am working with SELF since its inception. I feel that the organization is more of a family for me now. In these past 7 years, me and SELF has seen the ups and downs together, from the time of having limited resources both at the institutional and personal level to finally taking concrete steps towards the achieving the goals of the organization along with my personal growth. Today I feel very happy every member of the family plays an essential role in this constant endeavor. SELF believe in celebrating every achievement and acknowledges the collective contribution of its employees, which motivates us and keep our goals well within the sight.

In the year 2011 SHG’s movement was on its peak, MAVIM was actively doing awareness and promotion of SHG program. I also become a member of Self-Help Group and I got a chance to work with MAVIM. During that period various organizations were also actively working with Self Help Group and Sampada Trust was one of them. Due to my active participation in SHG various SHG’s meetings started at my house, and then I eventually became a member of Sampada’s SHG. I still remember taking a loan of Rs.5000 from Sampada Trust and repaid regularly. When the opportunity came to be a part of SELF (A sister concern of Sampada Trust) in the year 2013 I accepted the same with wide arms. I joined as a trainee officer in SELF and risen the ranks to be one of the most senior credit officers. SELF had given me an opportunity to enhance my knowledge and skill and a platform to grow both personally and professionally. True to its core values SELF has stood by me during the lowest point of my life and lost my Husband in the year 2017. Even after my absence from work for considerable long period SELF has provided me with the care and understanding to overcome my grief and re-join my service. I feel proud be a part of SELF, which not only declare to be a safe and fair organization but also walks the talk in real life. I wish my company all success in its growth and hopes I will be a part of it in future too.

I am part of Sampada Entrepreneurship & Livelihood Foundation since 2013. Today I am in risen to the Position of Manager operations with Insurance as my prime responsibilities. I started as a MIS- supervisor. The management team of SELF supported me to enhance skills & knowledge to gain heights in my career. Frequent trainings, exposure visits are a part of SELF culture to develop its human resources. My wish to work in a field that can have a social impact along with my personal growth have been fulfilled by SELF. As shout out to Management team and HR of SELF in putting efforts to make it a safe and healthy environment, where everybody is treated with utmost respect and equality. There are so many wonderful things about working for SELF. Having support of each staff member in thick and thin of life made it feel like an extended family. 'Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.'
